Sunsets in Tuscany- A Photo Essay

If I can put one touch of rosy sunset into the life of any man or woman, I shall feel that I have worked with God.

The inspiration of a sunset… It is the daily canvas that we all share. No matter where you are or what your doing, the magic of the glowing sky seems to stop time. For just that moment, you cease speaking, working, playing… just to take in its majesty. Its silent beauty fills you like nothing else.

It is power, in its most beautiful form.

Softly the evening came with the sunset.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

It is almost impossible to watch a sunset and not dream.

Bern Williams

Give me the splendid silent sun at sunset.

Walt Whitman

May I never miss a sunset or rainbow because I am looking down.

Sara June Parker

At sunset nature is painting for us… day after day… pictures of infinite beauty.

John Ruskiin

Peace… is seeing a sunset, and knowing who to thank.

Sunsets are so beautiful that they almost seem as if we were looking through the gates of Heaven.

John Lubbock

The sunrise is Gods greeting – the sunset, his signature.

Where was your favorite sunset?
